From a request to a confirmed handover
HaulMate is built around one simple idea: someone is already going where your item needs to be. Here's exactly how a haul travels.
Post what you need
Choose pick up & bring (it's already bought and waiting) or buy & bring (someone buys it for you). Add the store, the destination area, timing, and what you're offering — euros or a treat.
See who's around
Available members appear on a map as soft circles — a neighbourhood, never an address. Each one shows their rating, story, destination, travel mode and what they ask for.
Get matched
HaulMate scores each open haul against a carrier's route, timing and capacity, so the right requests reach the right people. The carrier accepts, and you chat in-app.
Payment is protected
The item budget (if any), the carrier reward and the protection fee are held. Nothing is released yet. For buy & bring, the carrier submits the real receipt and you approve any difference.
Pickup, confirmed by QR
The carrier scans the pickup QR when they collect the item. You get a notification and can follow the status from your activity screen.
Delivery, confirmed by PIN
On handover you enter your delivery PIN. That's the proof. The carrier reward is released to their wallet and any unused budget returns to you.
Rate each other
Both sides leave a rating. Ratings and completed hauls build the trust level shown on every profile.
What if something goes wrong?
Either side can open a dispute from the transaction screen. The protected amount is held while we review the chat, the pickup and delivery confirmations and any receipt photos. Outcomes: release to the carrier, refund the requester, or a split based on the evidence.
